Regional Media Centers

To order marc4media records, a one-time registration is required in order to establish a profile for your organization. Upon completion, you will receive a unique PROFILE ID to be quoted whenever anyone from your organization places orders, or contacts our office. 

If there is a possibility that your organization may already have a profile established you may confirm this by performing a lookup.

With your organization's PROFILE ID, orders may be placed by email, facsimile, or regular mail. Simply submit your list of titles to our office, being sure to include the following important information:

• Your organization's unique PROFILE ID
• Your payment information – VISA or MasterCard (include expiry date) or Purchase Order Number.
• A list of titles, distributors, and copyright dates (if available)

Marc4media records are priced at $2.00 each, if the distributor is noted on our list, and $4.00 each otherwise. Shipping and handling is $5.00 per order. For orders of greater than 500 records, please contact our office to discuss our volume discount policy.

In calculating the number of marc4media records for your order, consider the number of physical items involved. If there are four programs on one videocassette, for example, only one record is required for that item. If there are several components to a kit, but all the components are in one box, only one marc4media record is required to describe the kit. The exception is for master tapes with duplication rights. These require one record per program.

If the titles in your marc4media order have already been entered into an online system, a list of title codes can be the determining factor in overlaying brief on-line records with the full marc4media record. Simply insert a title code field or column to the list you send us and our data entry technicians will add the title code to each marc4media record. This will keep your staff requirements to a minimum when the marc4media data is loaded.
